The Bay Springs Bulldogs had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.6 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They blew past Lake, posting a 34-6 win at home. The result was nothing new for Bay Springs, who have now won six matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Espen Campbell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 182 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Jd Page, who gained 126 total yards.
Bay Springs' victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.5 points per game. As for Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
