Cupertino had a senior duo take command as Max Feldan dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds and Soham Nighojkar scored 19 points along with four steals. Nighojkar is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.
Cupertino's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Santa Clara, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
Cupertino will head out on the road to square off against Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fremont and Cupertino are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Santa Clara, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lynbrook at 7:00 p.m. Lynbrook is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
