It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Seiling Wildcats had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Comets 48-16 at home. Seiling's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Velma-Alma's loss came despite strong showings from Langsten Walker and Slade Strickland. Walker picked up 208 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Strickland threw for 226 yards and a touchdown.
Seiling pushed their record up to 15-0 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 45.08 points. As for Velma-Alma, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-2.
Seiling does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Velma-Alma also has no future games currently scheduled.
