On Tuesday, the Fishers Tigers faced the Lawrence North Wildcats in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Fishers secured a 63-57 W over Lawrence North. The win was familiar territory for Fishers who now have five in a row.
Fishers' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Talia Harris led the charge by scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Dickman, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Despite the loss, Lawrence North still got an impressive performance from Kya Hurt, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamara Mills, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Fishers is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Lawrence North, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5.
