Sabine won the last time they faced Carlisle and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Indians.

Samantha Espinoza and Makayla Holcomb certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Espinoza had seven digs and two aces, while Holcomb had 12 digs and ten assists. Holcomb is also on a roll when it comes to hitting percentage, as she's posted one of at least 41.7% in the last four games she's played.

Sabine has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Carlisle, they moved to 9-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Sabine will face off against Elysian Fields at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carlisle, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Waskom on the 30th.
