It was a good run, but the Notre Dame Prep Saints unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Friday. Their tough 83-63 loss to Millennium might stick with them for a while. Notre Dame Prep has struggled against Millennium recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Saints players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anthony Batson jr., who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds. Batson jr. is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last five games he's played. Brennan Peterson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Notre Dame Prep's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 21-4. As for Millennium, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame Prep will take on Cactus Shadows at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Notre Dame Prep has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,168 points over their last 15 games. As for Millennium, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon View is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
