The home team had come away the winner the last three times Parkland and Canutillo had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Lubbock-Cooper has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Parkland struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lubbock-Cooper came out on top in a nail-biter against Parkland in their previous matchup back in February of 2016, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
