Wright City will challenge Van-Far/Community on the road at Game #3 at 7:00 PM on Friday. Wright City is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Wright City beat Duchesne 20-14 last week. No one had a better game by the numbers than senior Jayden Mahaney, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Van-Far/Community gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener. They were able to grind out a solid victory over Louisiana, winning 44-34.
Their wins bumped Van-Far/Community to 1-0 and Wright City to 1-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Van-Far/Community and Wright City clash.
