Laurel got themselves on the board against Seaford on Thursday, but Seaford never followed suit. They blew past the Bluejays 7-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Bluejays recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Tristen Johnson was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. He also put up two doubles, which were his first of the season. Matt Givens was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Laurel's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Seaford, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laurel will host Dickinson at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.4 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Seaford, they will be playing at home against Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
