After a string of three wins, Foothill's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost to Pleasant Valley at home by a decisive 78-63 margin. Foothill has struggled against the Vikings recently, as their match on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Foothill might have lost, but man, Tyler Zanhiser was a machine: he scored 23 points along with two steals. Zanhiser is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Van Warren, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Shasta's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Red Bluff by a score of 61-58.
Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Shasta, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.
