In what's become a running theme this season, the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They claimed a resounding 58-29 win over Loveland Classical at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Windsor Charter Academy has posted since December 1, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Windsor Charter Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sadie Curry, who scored 15 points along with six steals and five assists. Curry continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Morgan Kimmi, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
The win got Windsor Charter Academy back to even at 6-6. As for Loveland Classical, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-2.
Windsor Charter Academy will head out on the road to square off against Golden View Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Golden View Classical Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 last Friday. Loveland Classical will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Front Range Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
