After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Columbus Academy, Bishop Ready was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Amanda-Clearcreek Aces  a   2-0 shutout. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Silver Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

 Bishop Ready's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Amanda-Clearcreek,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Bishop Ready will head out to  challenge Grandview Heights  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  4-1  loss vs. Unioto on the 26th.
