Basalt was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight  loss. They took  a  41-22 bruising from the Coal Ridge Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  45-31  back in January.
  Brilee Jensen was the offensive standout of the  matchup as she  posted six  points and 11  boards. She has become a key player for Coal Ridge: the team is 4-2 when she posts  at  least  ten  rebounds, but 4-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Avary Carnahan, who  put up five points and five  steals.
Basalt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Coal Ridge, they pushed their record up to 8-10 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
