On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Troup at home against Bishop Gorman as the squad secured a 46-19 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Troup.
Troup can attribute much of their success to Bailey Blanton, who scored 20 points along with 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Blanton has scored at least 25% of Troup's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Qhenja Jordan, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Troup is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Bishop Gorman, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Troup will square off against Tyler HEAT at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tyler HEAT will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Bishop Gorman will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Henderson at 9:00 a.m. on December 7th. Henderson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bishop Gorman in Texas (Henderson is ranked 257th, while Bishop Gorman is ranked 831st).
