Discovery Canyon is  a perfect 10-0 against Lewis-Palmer since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Thunder will be playing at home against the Rangers  at 4:00  p.m. Discovery Canyon is coming into the  matchup on  a  six-game losing streak.
On Monday, Discovery Canyon didn't have quite enough to beat Cheyenne Mountain and fell  11-10.
 Discovery Canyon saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Bella Holcomb, who  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs.  Kaitlyn Chaumont was another,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.
Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer had to endure  a  17-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by  an  18-4 margin over Coronado on Tuesday. The Rangers not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since August 23rd (when they won  18-3).
 Jaelynn Bello was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Braelyn Perry, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  runs and three  RBI.
 Lewis-Palmer was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .571. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in five consecutive  games.
 Discovery Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Lewis-Palmer, their victory bumped their record up to 3-19.
Wednesday's   contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Discovery Canyon hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Lewis-Palmer struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .317. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Discovery Canyon took their  win against Lewis-Palmer  in their previous meeting  back in September by a conclusive  23-3 score. Will the Thunder repeat their success,  or do  the Rangers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
