The Eastern Comets will stay at home for another game and welcome the Carroll Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Carroll can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Clinton Prairie 62-25 at home. Given Carroll's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while Clinton Prairie is ranked 327th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Carroll's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alli Harness, who scored 23 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Harness also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Jillian Salts was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.

Tuesday's game is shaping up to be a scrappy match: Eastern have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 27 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Carroll, though, as they've been averaging only 32.6 rebounds per game. Given Eastern's sizeable advantage in that area, Carroll will need to find a way to close that gap.
