Isabella Ziupsnys posted a new career-low in walks on Wednesday. She made a splash, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She was up against Cristo Rey Jesuit and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in April of 2024. Ziupsnys has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Ziupsnys and Walther Christian Academy will challenge Northtown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
