First Baptist Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 70-33 victory over the Washington Classical Christian Warriors. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 27 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead First Baptist Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julia (Jay) Rose, who went 8 of 11 on her way to 18 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Rose's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Paiden Hickman, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

First Baptist Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.8 points. As for Washington Classical Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

First Baptist Christian Academy will square off against First Coast Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. First Baptist Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so First Coast Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Washington Classical Christian, they will head out to square off against St. Joseph Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
