Lake Park fell victim to Glenbard North and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Lancers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Patrick St. John was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lake Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rocco Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Lake Park's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Glenbard North, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-13 record.
