Chip Chambers made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Chambers was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Brody Oliver was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Mason McCloy, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Albany's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1-3.
