Leadore found their leader in sophomore Dane Piippo, who shot 4-for-5 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Piippo has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Ramsey, who posted six points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, Mackay was a bit more limited in their contest last Saturday. They were dealt a 74-23 defeat at the hands of Rockland. The Miners have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Mackay's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-3. As for Leadore, the win also got them back to even at 3-3.
