Leadore found their leader in sophomore Dane Piippo, who shot 4-for-5 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, Mackay was a bit more limited in their contest last Saturday. They were dealt a 74-23 defeat at the hands of Rockland. The Miners have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Mackay's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-3. As for Leadore, the win also got them back to even at 3-3.
