The Crawford County Eagles lost against the Taylor County Vikings last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Crawford County was dealt a 67-15 loss at the hands of Taylor County. While losing is never fun, Crawford County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while Taylor County is ranked 118th).
Jada Harris was Crawford County's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Jakayla Peeples held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.
Crawford County now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Taylor County, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Crawford County will head out on the road to face off against Pike County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pike County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Taylor County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Greenville at 6:00 p.m. Greenville is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
