Lucerne Valley scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Silver Valley Trojans with a sharp  24-13 victory. The  win was just what Lucerne Valley needed coming off of  a  13-0 loss in their prior  game.
 Lucerne Valley got a  massive  performance out of  Amaya Kelly, who  scored three  runs and  stole eight bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.  Ariana Garcia was another key contributor,  scoring four  runs and  stealing nine bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.
 On Silver Valley's side,  Destiny Ortiz-Leon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Ortiz-Leon has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Makenzie Connor, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Lucerne Valley is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season. As for Silver Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with that  defeat, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season.
