Despite the loss, East Coweta got top-tier performance from Jayshon Stegall, who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown. Stegall really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Cohen Peeples was another key player, rushing for 78 yards.
Douglas County's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for East Coweta, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
