The Marian Mustangs won the last time they faced the Divine Child Falcons, and things went their way on Friday too. Marian came out on top against Divine Child by a score of 48-35. Given Marian's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Divine Child is ranked 437th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Marian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ella Swanson out in front who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and two blocks. Molly McLeod was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds.
Marian was without their leading scorer, Mckenzie Swanson, in Friday's match. With Swanson sidelined, Marian had to make some changes to the lineup. And.
