Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Madison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grady Combs, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals. Aiden Grooms was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Madison's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Dayton Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will square off against Waynesville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Dayton Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Emmanuel Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
