Isaac Records posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Appomattox County is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-2 otherwise.
