Noah Wilcoxon Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Villa Grove got the W thanks in part to Noah Wilcoxon playing the best football he has all season. Wilcoxon picked up 90 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.
Cerro Gordo/Bement had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Wilcoxon it was a similar story. When Wilcoxon last faced the Broncos back in September of 2023, he picked up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Big Game from Fryman As Sullivan-Okaw Valley/Bethany Won 13-10
Aian Fryman was instrumental in extending Sullivan-Okaw Valley/Bethany's winning streak to six on Friday. Sangamon Valley/Tri-City had no answer to Fryman as he rushed for 145 yards. Fryman's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 139 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Sangamon Valley/Tri-City, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Fryman. Fryman rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 34 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Storm duked it out back in September of 2023.
