Anaconda's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Travis Dye
Travis Dye helped snap Anaconda's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. On Friday Dye rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 90 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up 0.5 sacks and making five total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Anaconda's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Dye and Anaconda will head out to square off against Loyola-Sacred Heart on Friday.

Loyola-Sacred Heart Gets a Boost from Stack in 33-14 Win
Keeping Richardson company is Ethan Stack, a fellow Loyola-Sacred Heart player. He picked up 135 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 68 yards.
Thompson Falls had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Stack it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stack saw the Blue Hawks), he picked up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Mason Arlington and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Mason Arlington was instrumental in extending Florence-Carlton's winning streak to six on Friday. Lincoln County had no answer to Arlington as he threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 37 yards.
Arlington is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Thompson Falls on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Arlington saw the Blue Hawks), he threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Emmet Mckim Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Emmet Mckim of Lincoln County. Mckim picked up 31 receiving yards.
This year, Mckim has averaged 31.3 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 7.29 receiving yards per game.
