Even though the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders scored an imposing 67 points on Thursday, the Grace Christian Crusaders still came out on top. Grace Christian took down Northside Christian Academy 84-67. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grace Christian.
Grace Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ma'Kyi Butler, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. The contest was Butler's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jimmy Zimmerman, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hilton Dessausure, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade McNeil, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Grace Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Northside Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
