Roanoke Catholic came up short on Thursday despite Avery Johnson delivering his most dominant game to date. New Covenant had no answer to Johnson as he scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season.
Johnson and Roanoke Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Life Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. Roanoke Catholic has not beaten Life Christian Academy recently, having gone 0-3 since February of 2019.
