The Carroll Eagles lost against the Geneva Panthers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Carroll fell to Geneva 46-40. Carroll has not had much luck with Geneva recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Geneva to victory, but perhaps none more so than Erica Torres, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaden Ward, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Geneva, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carroll won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Luverne at 5:30 p.m. on November 28th. As for Geneva, they will head out on the road to face off against Florala at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
