Basketball Recap: Abernathy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Ralls

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Abernathy). They blew past the Ralls Jackrabbits, posting an 84-33 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Abernathy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Ralls, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Abernathy and Ralls will both be playing Post the next time they take the court. Abernathy will head out to face Post at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while Ralls will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
