The Mammoth Huskies won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were outmatched by Rosamond on the road and fell 82-48. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mammoth in their matchups with Rosamond: they've now lost seven in a row.
Rosamond was led to victory by Andrew Arredondo and Fabian Robles. Arredondo scored 20 points, while Robles scored 29 points. Arredondo has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Cameron Gomez was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Mammoth's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Rosamond, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.
Mammoth will be playing at home against Kern Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Kern Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 last Tuesday. As for Rosamond, they will head out on the road to face off against California City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
