The Whitehall Railroaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cambridge N/A at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Friday, Whitehall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 27-22 to Hadley Luzerne. It was the first time this season that Whitehall let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Cambridge came up short against Stillwater on Monday and fell 52-41. While losing is never fun, Cambridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while Stillwater is ranked 122nd).
Cambridge's loss came about despite a quality game from Nicole LaFountain, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points LaFountain has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Moses, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Whitehall's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-8. As for Cambridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.
