The Port Chester Rams had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by Ossining 67-32. Port Chester was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-8.
Leading Ossining to victory were Kris Singh and Asher Cort. Singh scored 15 points along with 3 steals, while Cort scored 18 points. Gavin Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Port Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Ossining, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Chester will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Rochelle at 5:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Ossining, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valhalla at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
