The Braymer Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Northwestern with a sharp 63-41 victory on Tuesday. The victory was just what Braymer needed coming off of a 72-51 loss in their prior game.
Leading Braymer to victory were Jordan Haley and Dakota Brandon. Haley scored 15 points, while Brandon scored 20 points. The match was Haley's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Landon Baker was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Braymer has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Northwestern, they have fallen quite a ways from their 8-4 record last season and are now at 1-2.
Braymer is on the road again on Saturday and play against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris at 6:30 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Grundy County/Newtown-Harris focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday. Northwestern will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hale at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
