The Scots put the hurt on the Warrensburg Burgers with a sharp 3-0 win with plenty of help from Austin, who had five aces, four digs, and one block. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.
One reason for the win was Argyle's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-19, 25-15.
Several Burgers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Genna Lehocki, who had ten kills, four aces, and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Moos, who had 15 digs.
Argyle's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Warrensburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
