South County was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They lost  3-0 to the Lake Braddock Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in September.
 While South County was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11,  25-15.
 Lake Braddock was led to victory by  Yana Jensen and  Morgan Williams.  Jensen  had 17  digs and four  assists, while  Williams  hit 60% for 23  kills and seven  digs and five  aces. That's the most  kills  Williams has posted since back in October of 2024.
South County's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Lake Braddock, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record  this season.
As of now, neither South County nor Lake Braddock have any future games scheduled.
