Coquille have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Reedsport at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.
After having lost a blowout in their matchup two weeks ago against Amity, Coquille were happy to find some success last Friday. Coquille managed a somewhat close 12-8 win over Bandon.
Meanwhile, after a big victory against Illinois Valley two weeks ago, Reedsport came back down to earth. Reedsport have to be aching after a bruising 16-40 defeat to Toledo. This game was a close 8-6 at the break, but unfortunately for Reedsport it sure didn't stay that way.
Coquille's victory lifted them to 3-2 while Reedsport's loss dropped them down to 2-3. We'll see if Coquille's success rolls on or if Reedsport are able to steal their positive momentum.
