Show Low is a perfect 3-0 against Thatcher since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Show Low Cougars will head out on the road to challenge the Thatcher Eagles at 3:45 p.m. Show Low is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.

Show Low saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against Chandler by a score of 7-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Riley Heuett made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. She also brought in two RBI, marking her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addisyn Clark, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Tatum Townsend, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Show Low always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chandler only posted an OBP of .364.

Meanwhile, everything went Thatcher's way against Florence on Monday as Thatcher made off with an 11-1 victory. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly ten runs.

Thatcher pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14.8 runs. As for Show Low, their record now sits at 3-1.

Show Low took their victory against Thatcher in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 11-2. Does Show Low have another victory up their sleeve, or will Thatcher turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
