California has gone a perfect 10-0 against Santa Fe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Condors will look to defend their home field against the Chiefs at 3:15 p.m. California's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Santa Fe's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
California is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Whittier on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Condors, who have now won five matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Pricilla Ramirez tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024.
At the plate, Hailey Chavolla was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mia Martinez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
California always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Santa Fe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to La Serna.
Santa Fe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Saryah Razo, who went 1-for-4 with one double.
California pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Fe, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
Santa Fe's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. California has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Santa Fe, though, as they've been averaging only 3.7 strikeouts. Will California keep running through batters, or will the Chiefs buck the trend?
