The Tussey Mountain Titans will be playing at home against the Northern Bedford County Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tussey Mountain has four straight victories, the Panthers have 16 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Tussey Mountain didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Rockets, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory.
Meanwhile, Northern Bedford County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 53-49 to the Warriors.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Wesley Horsh, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Kaden Norwood was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Tussey Mountain's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Northern Bedford County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.
Tussey Mountain beat the Panthers 50-39 in their previous meeting back in January. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Northern Bedford County's Alex Kochara, who scored 17 points. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Tussey Mountain still be able to contain Kochara? There's only one way to find out.
