Family Christian won the last time they faced Donaldsonville and things went their way on Saturday too. Family Christian put the hurt on Donaldsonville with a sharp 18-4 victory. The Flames might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Family Christian got a massive performance out of Terrance Kilbourne, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those three runs gave Kilbourne a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Ruckman, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

The win made it two in a row for Family Christian and bumps their season record up to 14-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Donaldsonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season.

Family Christian will square off against Maurepas at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Donaldsonville, they will challenge Patterson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
