The Legacy Charter Eagles and the NSU University Sharks will face off at 11:30 a.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Legacy Charter will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 298th, while NSU University is ranked 63rd).
On Thursday, Legacy Charter came up short against Colonial and fell 61-48.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Tyler Smith, who scored eight points along with four steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Richmond, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, NSU University earned a 61-52 victory over Lake Howell on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for NSU University.
It was another big night for Anthony Ferrer, who scored 30 points. The match was his ninth in a row with at least ten points. Julian Granville was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Legacy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for NSU University, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
