Lampasas' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Taylor with a sharp 16-0 win. The Badgers haven't had any issues with the Ducks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

On the hitting side, Anthony Dimas was incredible, going 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Davis, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs.
Lampasas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Jarrell fell victim to Salado and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 20-0 to the Eagles. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lampasas' win bumped their record up to 9-4-4. As for Jarrell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
Jarrell's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lampasas has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .443. It's a different story for Jarrell, though, as they've only averaged .254. Will they be able to contain Lampasas' hitters?
Everything went Lampasas' way against Jarrell in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Lampasas made off with a 10-0 victory. Will the Badgers repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
