The Omaha Christian Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Weeping Water, falling 54-17. Omaha Christian Academy lost against Weeping Water in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 61-36 score last time.
Weeping Water's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riggs Wilson, who scored 18 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gus Mcgill, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Omaha Christian Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3. As for Weeping Water, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Omaha Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Bluffs on Thursday. As for Weeping Water, they will head out on the road to face off against Louisville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
