Having soared to a lofty six  goals in the game before, New Bern Christian Academy's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Epiphany  fell to 2-1. As for New Bern Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Epiphany took their  victory against New Bern Christian Academy  in their previous meeting  back in August of 2017 by a conclusive  9-1 score. In that  matchup, the Falcons amassed a halftime lead of  7-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Thursday.
