After a string of eight wins, The Mansfield Timberview Wolves''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 37-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Richland. The matchup was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but Mansfield Timberview was blown out by Richland in the second.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylon Woods, who rushed for 54 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Zuric Humes, who threw for 142 yards and a touchdown.

Mansfield Timberview will take on Adams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Adams will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 970th, while Mansfield Timberview is ranked 174th). As for Richland, they will head out on the road to face off against Molina on Friday. Molina is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
