When it comes to explaining why Bishop McLaughlin Catholic lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aliana Arana. Despite the final result, she scored a point along with ten rebounds and four blocks. Arana is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 15 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Talena McRoberts, who scored four points along with two steals and two blocks.
Bishop McLaughlin Catholic dropped their record down to 3-14 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.9 points per game. As for Berkeley Prep, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.
